Today is the last day of the grocery sales for the week here in NC.
I went to Food Lion and I got 4 marinated Hormel pork Lion and 2 Smithfield pork loin, all of this was 50% off because of the sale they have going on.
Then I went across the street and Harris Teeter has a deal going on where you buy 4 12pks of Coke on sale for $10 and you get a free 12pk of Sprite or Sprite Zero. And to make the deal even sweeter I had a BiLo coupon, buy 4 12pks of coke and get 3 free 2ltrs. So for all this I only spent $31.24. It seems like a lot of money, I am not used to spending so much in one trip, but really I saved $70.56 in coupons and specials. So I actually saved 69%. That is pretty good. I don’t normally buy this much soda, but we are going camping in June for a week and I am trying to buy stuff as it goes on sale now, rather than have to buy it and pay full price the week we leave.
