Today I had 3 secret shops to do, then rush home, to get them submitted, rush to get dinner made so my husband and son can rush to baseball practice and then husband has to go to soft ball.

I really lucked out, at Harris Teeter they are clearancing out a bunch of laundry detergent including like Tide for $2.94 a bottle. I got 4 bottles of detergent and 2 bottles of Downy plus a few other things for $14 after coupons. I saved 74% on this round today. It is nice to be at this point now. It has taken me over 6 months to get to the point where I only have to buy when I can save over 50% on what I am buying. I actually found a lot they were clearancing out. A helpful hint is if the number ends in a 4 then it is as low as it will go and on clearance, it is not just on sale.

Yesterday I went to Walgreens. I have decided I just can’t stand buying from there. They do the register rewards (coupons that are good for money off your next purchase) and they just have been a total pain to do it. I don’t have these problems when I shop at CVS. I don’t know why I bother even trying to do Walgreens. I end up paying more out of pocket too.

Congrats on getting to the point where you can wait for those huge sales. That's really awesome!
