Days 2, 3, 4

I spent a bit more today trying to get the Kraft parmesan cheese. I will never get that free, but there is a deal if you buy 5 you SHOULD get a $5 off your next order coupon. It worked the first time but not the second. I will have to call to get my coupon. I have 40 $1 coupons for the Kraft Parmesan cheese I need to use...

I spent about $35 total I think.

Free items were
Diamond sea salt, Wholly Guacamole, HT pasta, Ore Ida small box fries, yeast, special k bars, Chinet crystal cut cups, yosobia noodles, chioban, Okios, HT trail mix, Lysol Wipes, lance crackers, uncle bens white rice

Under $1
Electrasol, 9lives cat food, King Hawaiian rolls, Hienz ketchup, Pillsbury self rising flour, Danactive, Kahki egg rolls, YoPlait delights, Bertolli Sauce, Ziploc (not pictured), muir glen tomato paste

the rest
Crisco olive oil $1.99
Parmesan cheese $2.99

I did 2 orders to try and get the $5 OYNO catalina for each one and NEITHER one printed. Luckily HT corp was very generous and mailed me one and put a $5 credit on my card.

Free items
Jello, Slimfast, Lance crackers, special K items, nabisco 100 calorie packs

Philly cream cheese was less than $.25 each and 5 should generate the $5 OYNO cat, Lance 100 calorie packs were $.50 each, Kakhi $.50, Kraft Parmesan cheese was $1.99 each but is supposed to generate the $5 OYNO catalina.

First the free items
Yakisoba, 100 Calorie packs (I found coupons on the packages that made them FREE! TY Denise), uncle bens, Special K bars (they paid me to take them)

Breakstones were $1.29 BUT when you buy 5 of them you get a OYNO catalina for $5 (they are a kraft product)....I had a $5 credit on my card from my trip the other day when I didn't get it-so I paid $.29 for each one! This is the deal they have at BiLo but there they are on sale for $1....

Blue Bunny frozen yogurt novelties $.99 each (use the $1.50/1 IP I sent) This is not a known deal, but I am not sure how long before it gets out. I am not mentioning it on my board, just to my peeps-same with the Breakstones cottage doubles.

Gortons Popcorn shrimp was $.10 each ($1/1 IP)

Northland 100% Juice $1/2Q makes them $1.16 each ($3.89x2-$2/5)

Parmesan cheese is $1.99 after Q but generates the $5 OYNO catalina.

All of this I spent about $15 but received $10 in Oyno catalinas to use tomorrow.

Now I am just chomping at the bit to get to BiLo to get me more breakstones. I love the apple one that is my all time fav I will fork over the $5 to get 25 of them and have $5 left to spare....

The Blue Bunny...We do not like their ice cream at all BUT maybe in the smaller cookie/candy coated packaging we might like it. For $.99 each I was willing to give them a try.

The Northland juice, my son (the 19yr old) and I love juice. Better to drink that than the soda that makes my boobs hurt (excess caffine).

Parmesan cheese, I am hoping I won't have to buy that for a long time. I have been buying it lately from BJs where it is $6.99 for 32oz (BJs brand). I am hoping overall that this is cheaper, according to my math it is, assuming I can get the last $5 OYNO catalina that I have not gotten. Today I did get the one in the mail that I didn't get yesterday when I was with Denise, luckily their HQ are in Matthews.

My store was still completely out of Lysol wipes. Luckily I only have 1 or 2 more coupons left anyway. I am not even sure they got them in, but I know that someone that shops my store said she got them (though she also shops another store sometimes during SD and Triples).

New Year New Coupons New things!

I am trying to buy less processed packaged food, however I am not going to toss what I have...I have gotten 3 new stockpile shelves and now I must fill them!

I have been baking a lot of bread lately, everything from Dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, ENGLISH MUFFINS (what a pita these were). I have tried a few dinner rolls and still like my one from The Better Homes and Gardens cookbook I got as a wedding gift from my Grandma 20+ yrs ago. I spend a lot of time on Allrecipes.com I love that site. I really like the fact that people rate the recipes, at least then I know how others feel about them before I make them.

I have seen the movie Julie and Julia and that was great. I gave Beef Bourguignon a whirl yesterday and it turned out great even though I didn't bother with the last 3 steps. Basically I put it int he oven and we ate it out of the oven. The other 3 steps seemed kinda useless, I had no BABY onions to brown and I did saute the mushrooms though I only had about .25lb of sliced (hers called for whole quartered) and I ate them since there were so few...The carrots turned out AWESOME and the sauce/gravy it was in was so velvety....I wish I had gotten more meat to cook up to do it with-but I am trying to not spend so much, and I have a TON Of meat in my freezer. The only reason I bought these 2 small packages I did, was I had some wine tags to use that expired that day.

Today is the first day of Super doubles. I did shopping for my mom and great aunt along with my own.
I don't think we did too bad, not a lot of processed/bad for you foods.

My first order was $20.xx (when I got the most expensive things all in one order)
second was $6.54
Third was $3.54

All prices are after Q

These coupons were in this past Sundays paper, Several were IP, The rest were either tear pads or hangtags, coupons from previous papers, catalinas, or sent to me in the mail.

$.01- $.20 items were
Heinz ketchup, Organic valley cream cheese, ziploc

$.26-$1
ICBINB sticks, Electrasol, Organic Valley cream, Lance 100 calorie, cottonelle wipes, Herbal Essence mousse, Delmonte Orchard Selects, Northland 100% juice, Spot Shot, 9 lives cat food
